It is now October 2021 and as I write, for many people worldwide, reality has meant a really difficult last couple of years… There are now the beginnings of hopeful signs and there is light at the end of the tunnel… Many more of us are beginning to feel restless and indeed longing for “new” and positive change… Please enjoy my Top Ten Tips to help you get motivated and get moving…

  1. When you feel restless or unsatisfied, don’t push those feelings down… Instead embrace them as fuel to propel you forward and open your heart and mind to discovering solutions and new ways forward….
  2. When you feel tired, lethargic, overwhelmed or bored, get some fresh air… Go outside and find and reconnect with nature… Even just opening the window and breathing will work… Whatever it takes… Make a point of also catching up on sleep… Your mood will be better.
  3. Allow yourself today to start thinking, desiring and dreaming… What do you want? How do you want your life to be? Do this, even if yet, you have no idea how to get what you want and be where you want to be…
  4. Wake-up! Refuse to not expect and not hope for more… Even if your heart is still aching for all that you have lost or been through, remind yourself, “today is new”, “today is now” and “today is this moment”…
  5. Create and start working on new, positive and good-for-you habits… Start small, they should be small and doable things that make you feel good… Keep going because soon, feeling good will turn into feeling “great” and you will be up and running in no time at all…
  6. Each day accomplish something, no matter how small… Work on these small things – they will start to make your life feel awesome…
  7. Face your fears: Be honest with yourself, ask for help, speak up, speak out…
  8. Do something different. Do things differently…
  9. Breathe deeply. Stretch your body, move around, change your thoughts if they are not helpful or working for you, let go of self doubt…
  10. Insist on seeing every day as a new day, filled with new creations and new opportunities… Be open and get ready to be simply amazed…
