What's happening? What's going to happen with you and with the world in 2002 and in the years to come? Just what can we expect and what does the future hold? Love, career, finance, health, world peace? Each year we ponder on these and other questions. Some of us remain optimistic; others exist in a state of dread and depression feeling that the future is limited, like a tired old record that keeps being played. The possibilities come and go and yet there never seems to be much change. What's going to be different in the future? What can happen next? What is it that we, as individuals, and the world as a collective, need? The answer is simple as answers usually are: change. We hear over and over that we do have all the answers to our own questions, that we create our own reality and yet for many of us, this still remains tough to put into daily practice, and somehow remains out of our reach. The good news is that it really is simple to say "no more pain" on an individual and collective level. Maybe the question is: are you ready for joy? Are you ready for love and happiness? Ready to accept life moving easily without struggle? We have so much conditioning that tells us the opposite. WE are brought up and brought together with the "no pain no gain" theory. We seem to feel noble as we struggle with adversity. Yet in reality it's all so unnecessary. It's a matter of choice, as simple as whether to drink tea, coffee or water first think in the morning. Do you still struggle with the idea of something being so profound also, being so simple and accessible? Do you like the idea but don't know where to start? The secrets of happiness, success, peace, awareness and illumination have been handed down throughout the ages and yet when will we stop looking for them, accept that they are staring us in the face and start using them? Focus, letting go, fulfilling needs, self-expression and self-love. What could be simpler, more down-to-earth? And yet how much time do we take and make for these basics? Further more, how much time do we spend instead going around in circles avoiding these basics? Maybe it's time this year in 2002 to re-look at our priorities and get back to what is not only really important in our life but at what's going to work. The great news is that as we each take time and make time for these tools, we will realize how amazing we each really are and that we are not small powerless, helpless or insignificant; that in fact the future of us and indeed mankind and the world is going to be whatever we choose it to be. If you haven't already read The Essence of Self-Healing: How to Bring Health and Happiness into Your Life, read it today. If you have already read it, read it again and then start using the exercises. The Expanding exercise will prepare you for joy; the Letting Go exercises will clear you and prepare you, making way for the new and all that seemed unreachable. The Focus exercises will put you in touch with yourself, reality and creativity and help develop your awareness in ways you have only dreamed of. The answers are here. The answers are now, It's time to rise up and wake up and not only be all that you can be, but to discover all that you already are. World predictions end now. It's time for each one of us to start predicting and to stop ignoring the fact that inside of us there is a part of us that knows what we are doing, what to do, and how to bring real positive change. It's time also for each one of us to stop protecting those around us from themselves. In doing so we keep them in the dark. Take a deep breath, speak your truth and let's all stop ignoring the good inside of us which does not need to be told what's right or wrong by society or anybody, that part of us that does not need to accept limited concepts, walls, barriers and boundaries. It's time. Let's get ready each and everyone. Let's accept the option of standing in the fullness and brightness of our own light and power. |
Have a Very Happy New Year! | |

Ingredients for the Pastry:
Sift all the dry ingredients, add the oil and rub in with your fingers until it is mixed all the way through. Add cold water one tbs. at a time until you have a dough which can be very lightly kneaded and rolled out (knead as little as possible so as not to have a tough pastry shell). Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350F). Ingredients for the Filling:
Cube the apples ( I wash them and leave the skin on as I like them this way... ) and mix with the lemon juice so that they do not go brown. To this mixture I add fructose - a generous sprinkling - this may take experimenting to get it as you like it and also depends on the sweetness of the apples... remember it is 1/4 times more sweet than sugar is... and I also add as many currants as I feel like ( they add a nice sharp taste and sweetness too... ) I then add the oats or flour ( as much as I feel is needed to soak up some of the juice that the apples will let out while being baked ) and I add the cinnamon and the cloves also. Put all together: Roll out half of the pastry and line an appropriately sized oven/pie dish (including the sides) which has been oiled or sprayed so it does not stick. Put the apple mixture in. Roll out the other half of the pastry and place this sheet on top of the apple mixture pinching the sides of the top layer of pastry so that you create a sealed envelope with the bottom layer of pastry. Make some slits on the top with a knife for steam to be able to escape. If there is any leftover dough you can make some decorations and place them on top making sure that you wet the pastry where you are going to stick them so that they do stick… I personally like little stars - they look really pretty… Cook for about one hour in a 350F oven. This pie tastes much better the next day at room temperature than it does while still hot and just out of the oven or even than it does on the same day of baking!!! Tell Cielle how much you like her Apple Pie. I'll forward your message to her. Interesting web sites about vegetarianism: |
